About the course:
Golf course architect Gene Hamm left his mark throughout this great state, but perhaps none more memorable than the design at Colonial Country Club.  Hamm has built courses in some of the finest areas in North Carolina, including the historic Pinehurst area.  Hamm’s work at Colonial proved to be one of his finest.  Never one to disturb nature, Hamm carved the layout through hardwood forests leaving the natural contours of the land to provide the character of the course.  The result was a wonderful test of golf that thrills golfers to this day. The course is well-manicured and showcases pristine Bermuda greens providing a smooth and even pace for all to enjoy.

  • Challenging par 71 course (USGA rating 71.5/slope 118)
  • 6,600 yards of rolling Bermuda fairways with 75 maintained bunkers
  • Large well-manicured champion Bermuda greens

Maximum Gross Score: Double Bogey. If you have already reached a double bogey, please pick up to speed play.

Mulligans: One mulligan is included with your entry fee. A mulligan is good for a replay of one shot anywhere on the course. No prizes can be won on mulligan shots.

Play: You may move the ball one club length in the fairway only. The ball must otherwise be played “down”. This includes in the rough, hazards, and the green. The only exception is if the ball is lying on a tree root or rock in the fairway or rough. Move your ball to the point of nearest relief without penalty.

Contest: Contest participation is included with Event and Corporate Sponsorships. Contest packages for all other players are also available for a cost of $20 per player.
