Application & Scholarship Information:

Davidson-Davie Foundation scholarships are funded by generous community donors and organizations. Some donors may have specific criteria, so please complete all application fields to maximize scholarship opportunities.

Priority Deadline: Submit by May 1, 2025 for the best chance of receiving funds for the 2025-2026 academic year. Applications received after May 1st will be waitlisted.

For applications submitted by May 1st, decisions are typically made by July. Late applications may not be reviewed until after the semester starts, and students with no other financial aid must be prepared to pay by the payment deadline.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Enroll in at least 3 credit hours and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA (unless specified otherwise).
  • Scholarships are divided equally between Fall and Spring semesters; students must remain enrolled and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA to receive awards.
  • Preference may be given to students not receiving other financial aid (e.g., Pell Grant, Next NC Scholarship, etc).
  • Scholarship amounts may vary based on credit hours enrolled.
  • You must complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA for scholarship consideration. Applicants with incomplete FAFSA applications will result in disqualification.

Foundation Scholarship Application for Fall 2025, Spring 2026, & Summer 2026

  • If enrolling in Continuing Education, or in a program that does not qualify for traditional financial aid, please indicate the NAME OF PROGRAM & START DATE (example: Truck Driver Training, Phlebotomy, NA1, EMS, etc...)

  • As part of the requirements for this application, you will need to write an essay of no more than 350 words. Be sure to: 1) address your educational and career goals and how Davidson-Davie Community College can assist you in pursuing your goals; 2) include any relevant activities, awards, and honors you have received in recent years; 3) describe any significant obstacles you have overcome in your pursuit of an education; 4) include any relevant information regarding your financial need (for example, you may choose to write about recent unemployment, recent loss or ineligibility of financial aid such as the Pell Grant, etc); and 5) explain any choices you selected from the "Specific Scholarship Criteria" checklist. You will need to type your essay in the text box below:
  • I understand that a completed FAFSA is a requirement in order to qualify for a scholarship, and I have completed the FAFSA for the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Your SAI is found in your Student Aid Report (SAR) from your completed FAFSA. If you have not completed the FAFSA, you will not be eligible for a scholarship.
