IMPORTANT NOTICE: We’re reviewing scholarship applications received by the May 1, 2025 deadline. Applications submitted after May 1 are being waitlisted and not guaranteed funding. If you applied after May 1 and have no other aid, be prepared to pay your fall balance before 5 PM on the fall payment deadline (next deadline is Thurs. Aug. 14 by 5 PM).
Application & Scholarship Information:
Davidson-Davie Community College Foundation scholarships are funded by generous community donors and organizations and are exclusively for current Davidson-Davie students (students from other colleges and community members are not eligible, and our scholarships are not transferable to other colleges). Some scholarships have specific eligibility criteria, so be sure to complete all sections of the application to increase your chances of being considered. Requirements such as GPA, credit hours, and other academic standards vary, with a minimum GPA of 2.0 required for eligibility.
Priority Deadline: Submit by May 1, 2025 for the best chance of receiving funds for the 2025-2026 academic year. Applications received after May 1st will be waitlisted.
For applications submitted by May 1st, decisions are typically made by July. Late applications may not be reviewed until after the semester starts, and students with no other financial aid must be prepared to pay by the payment deadline.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Enroll in at least 3 credit hours at Davidson-Davie and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA (unless specified otherwise).
- Scholarships are divided equally between Fall and Spring semesters; students must remain enrolled and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA to receive awards.
- Preference may be given to students not receiving other financial aid (e.g., Pell Grant, Next NC Scholarship, etc).
- Scholarship amounts may vary based on credit hours enrolled and other financial aid received.
- You must complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA for scholarship consideration. Applicants with incomplete FAFSA applications will result in disqualification.
- You will be required to complete a thank you note if you receive a scholarship.
